Who would think that in as little as fifteen minutes each day you can heal your mind, body and spirit through meditation. It is true, but the hard part is finding the right time of the day to devote to this daily meditation. The beginning of the day generally has far too many distractions for most of us. Very few people can find the time, let alone a quiet place, during the middle of the day. I discovered at the end of your day, precisely the fifteen minutes prior to bedtime, is the optimal time to commit to this daily healing meditation. Releasing all of the negativity before bed will also assist the natural healing process that your body goes through during sleep each night.
•Pillar Candle (Read over the Color Magick chapter if you need help selecting the candle color.) •Lighter or Matches
•Anointing oil for unscented candles. (Read over the Herbology and Essential Oils chapters if you are unsure about which oil to select or create.)
•Place the candle in the room with you on a safe surface such as; the center of a clutter free table or altar.
•Light the candle.
•Sit in a comfortable position with your leg crosses if possible.
•Place your hands palm side up on your knees and close your eyes.
•Take in and release a couple deep breaths.
•Visualize your body is surrounded by a blue light of peace and white light of protection.
•Feel your shoulders relax and calm your mind.
•As your body falls into a state of relaxation, feel the energy of peace and protection around you.
•Begin by releasing all the hurt feelings, pain, anger, stress and any other negative emotions and energy you're holding on to from today.
•Desire to have a healthy mind, body and spirit - and you shall!
•Embrace the energy of peace, harmony and protection.
•As the meditation comes to an end, open your eyes and blow out the candle.
•Take a moment to give thanks for the blessings in your life.
